Gakusen Toshi Asterisk – First Impressions

Futuristic Academy Fighters (yes, I made that up now) seem to be quite a popular choice of genre these days, especially in shounen anime. This one is no different: new/transfer student entering an academy where everyone fights each other to determine who’s the strongest of them all. Main character shows potential to be very strong but we have yet to see his full power. While Gakusen Toshi Asterisk adds nothing new to the genre, it’s quite entertaining so far.

Danchigai – First Impressions

                                                                                                                                                                        I’m mostly a sucker when it comes to comedies and slice-of-life anime because I enjoy the genre very much. Danchigai is that type of anime, though its episode length doesn’t allow for much to really happen.

Let’s be honest, not everyone can appreciate anime the same way others do. Some people either find it hard to understand or just plain weird (cue “I’ve seen enough hentai to know where this is going” meme). For those who are interested in trying out anime but are unsure what to watch, here is a list of anime that I would recommend to you, just to help you get started. Take note, however, that this is a subjective list based on anime that I’ve watched before. It was very difficult to decide which anime should appear on this list.
